Today was a stellar day,
Saw some Scrubs and Stellar Jays
See I feed birds for leisure
And do research to identify ‘em
It’s a good time of year - buds on the trees,
lotta hummingbirds on the feeder
One part sugar, four parts water -
The recipe for nectar
This ain’t what you expect a
Rapper to do when he’s chilling
But rap is for the birds, this is way more fulfilling
In this urban confinement of ours..
Got a small sliver of land, but a whisper of a yard,
One tree.. Couldn't host 2,
But as far as activities, there's a whole slew..
And this might be peace,
I hear the chirps all day
